It’s tough to remember a between-innings promotion that has captured the attention of major league fans more quickly than “The Freeze.” The sprinting superhero first went viral last week when an unfortunate fan who accepted his challenge face-planted in the warning-track dirt at SunTrust Park. But the tables turned Friday night when “The Freeze” tasted defeat. It’s worth noting that the challenger always gets a sizable head start in the race, but here’s the upset:

Travis Kelce admitted Monday evening he has not spoken with girlfriend Taylor Swift since Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.   The Kansas City Chiefs plane landed in Las Vegas to start preparing for Super Bowl LVIII as Swift won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, said Kelce.  The tight end saw the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer win her first hardware of the night as he regained phone service. Yet, Kelce said he has not spoken with Swift since the Grammys because she needed to get on a plane, likely to Tokyo for the Japanese leg of ‘The Eras Tour’.

There were mothers claiming marijuana drove their children to suicide, millennial entrepreneurs who struggled for a good answer when regulators asked what effect CBD has in cosmetics, and high-paid industry lawyers pitching well-vetted regulatory frameworks.

The design process for the film’s ink began with production designer Andy Nicholson (a recent Oscar nominee for “Gravity”), who worked with director Neil Burger to create a “bible of the future” that set forth rules about visuals not explained in Veronica Roth’s book series.
